Monthly desk award: best process post, not best P&L

P&L screenshots teach the wrong lesson and invite the wrong competition. I would rather pin the post that shows a clean stand-aside, a cost log, an honest soft-breach reset, or a post-mortem that admits the rule break without theatre.

Idea for the forum: a monthly desk award for best process post — judged on clarity of rule, honesty about failure, and usefulness to other scalpers. Green equity curves optional and, frankly, suspicious as a ranking tool. It nudges culture toward survival skills instead of highlight reels.

I would happily lose a “PnL contest” every month if the process thread that wins helps someone keep their daily loss limit intact.

Would a “best process post” monthly award change what you bother writing — and what criteria should count?

Judging could be a small rotating panel of regulars using a simple scorecard: clarity, honesty, replicability. Keep P&L out of the scoring sheet entirely so the incentive stays clean.
