Ending on process score when P&L begs for more

Green days are dangerous. The chart still moves, the spread looks fine, and the account whispers for one more. I used to answer that whisper and donate the morning’s work into late-session noise. Now I answer a process score instead of the P&L line.

Before London I write three process items I will honour — examples: no revenge size, no news chase, time-stop every scalp. At the end of the planned window I score myself 0–3. If I am 3/3, I am allowed to stop even if I am up less than I “wanted.” If I am 1/3, I stop especially if I am green — luck is not a licence to keep clicking.

Desk rule: process score closes the book, not the P&L line. It feels odd the first fortnight. Then you notice the give-back trades vanish from the journal and Fridays stop being a second job.

Do you have a non-P&L exit criterion for the day, or does the green number still talk you into overtime?
