Btw i found out, that wine area Valdepenaz in Portugal produce very good quality Red wines for very good price.

Ha — I’ll take the wine only after the journal is closed, not after one green trade. Celebrating mid-session is how I used to give it back.

My version: walk / coffee after a clean rule-following day, even if PnL is flat. Reward process, not lottery tickets.

IT was not celebrating mod session

Plus i do not do journals, in forex scalping fast pace trade there is no time for that.

What i actually do is after every forex trading series i will Generate trade record with statistics.

every time after good trading series is important to celebrate little bit, for me its about good red wine

Celebration is healthy — provided it is after the flat book, not during the open risk.

On the desk we treat a closed series the same way: mark the process score, withdraw or ring-fence what the plan said to bank, then step away. A glass of something decent works as a ritual that says “session finished.” What does not work is letting the ritual become permission to loosen size tomorrow because last night felt victorious.

One practical boundary I like: celebrate the process (rules held, news filter respected), not only the percentage. Otherwise you train yourself to need fireworks to feel allowed to rest.

Wine, walk, or quiet dinner — all fine. Just keep the next session’s risk sheet identical to a flat Tuesday’s.

What does your “series closed” checklist look like before the cork comes out?
