Each approach has a cost.
- Coasting with micro trades is the safest for the challenge itself, but you lose several days of real practice right before the funded account, which is exactly when you need your normal rhythm.
- Trading normally keeps the habit, but one bad day can push you close to the daily loss limit after you've already passed the hard part.
- Random punts are the worst of both. You build a habit you will bring to funded.
Firms differ, so read your own rules. Some require a minimum trade size or activity per day, and some count consistency across all days.
Did your trading change after you hit the target? I'm interested in what people did in the first funded week too.
