Withdrawal speed after a good week: broker operational reality

Post by FXS London Scalper »

Brokers compete on spreads and platforms, but withdrawal handling is where trust is tested. A broker that takes deposits instantly but takes weeks to process withdrawals is a red flag.

What reasonable withdrawal processing looks like:
- Request processed within 1–2 business days.
- Funds arrive within 1–5 business days depending on method.
- Clear communication if documents are needed.

Warning signs:
- Repeated requests for documents already provided.
- Withdrawals "under review" for extended periods without explanation.
- Pressure to keep funds in the account.
- Different treatment after profitable periods.

A practical habit: make a small withdrawal soon after opening an account, before you have meaningful profits. It tests the process when nothing is at stake.

Also: withdraw regularly. Leaving all profits in a broker account increases counterparty risk.

How fast are withdrawals at your broker? Has anyone had problems after a profitable stretch?

Hi,

i have very good experience with IC markets,
for smaller ammount it takes them only around half day, because its automatic.
For bigger ammount it takes in reality 1-2 days in most cases :-)
Preserve your own money. Scale with the market's money. Exponential growth is the ultimate key.
