Previous day high/low as London scalp magnets — retest rules only

Post by LondonScalper »

PDH and PDL are magnets. Magnet does not mean market order at first touch.

I trade them as retest locations only after a clear reaction: sweep and reclaim, or break-and-retest with hold. Blind fades of first touch on previous day extremes have been inconsistent for me at London open, especially when the whole market is repositioning and the magnet is crowded.

Mark PDH/PDL before the session. If price never arrives, there is no FOMO trade elsewhere just because those levels exist on the chart. If price arrives in the middle of a data spike, the magnet waits — I do not need to be first.

I prefer prior day over random weekly levels for scalps; the magnet is closer to session memory.

Magnets attract stops as well as entries; that is why the reaction rule comes first.
  • Retest only, or do first-touch fades of PDH/PDL work in your book?
  • Prior day or prior session high/low for your scalps?
Levels need entry rules.
