Gold M5 pullback to London VWAP: continuation only, never first-touch fade

Post by LondonScalper »

London session VWAP on gold is a useful magnet. Fading the first touch has been a leak for me.

Rule now: pullback to London VWAP is a continuation location only when prior structure is with-trend and the impulse still looks unfinished. First-touch fades of VWAP are off unless I have a separate sweep-reclaim story that stands on its own. I want reaction plus hold, not a blind limit into VWAP because the line is popular.

If price slices through VWAP with acceptance, the continuation idea is invalid — I do not move the stop to the other side of VWAP hope. Session VWAP matters more for me than a full-day VWAP when I am trading the London window specifically.

This sits beside broader VWAP reversion talk; my constraint is continuation-only on first quality touches.
  • Continuation or fade at gold VWAP — what works in your book?
  • Session VWAP or day VWAP for London scalps?
Simple rule, fewer clever losses.
