Session separators and range boxes I cannot trade without.

My chart stays readable because I draw session boxes: Asia range, London open drive, lunch balance if it forms. Without them I treat every M1 wiggle as equal. With them I see when I am trading recycle as if it were fresh impulse.

Practical use
Break of Asia high/low only matters with context -- time, spread, and whether London already ran. Fade-back-to-mid ideas need a clear box mid. If I cannot draw a clean box, I probably should not force a narrative.

I keep colours consistent so muscle memory works under stress. Separators are not predictions; they are maps.

What session markings are permanent on your template, and what do you refuse to clutter with?

Template discipline: if a box is not drawn, I do not invent it mid-trade to justify a hold. No box, no story. That sounds pedantic until you watch yourself redraw history to protect an open P&L. Separators exist to constrain narratives, not decorate screenshots.
