Weekly market recap threads: what format is most useful?

Post by FXS London Scalper »

Several members have suggested a regular recap of the week's main moves. Before starting one, it is worth asking what format would actually be read and discussed.

One option is a short summary of the main pairs, the key events, and what surprised the market, posted on Saturday. Another is a more interactive thread where members add their own observations for pairs they follow.

A third option is to focus on lessons rather than price: which events moved more or less than expected, and why. This tends to generate better discussion than a simple list of levels.

Whatever the format, the recap should avoid trade calls and focus on what happened and why. Links to official sources such as central bank statements would add value.

Please vote or reply with your preference, and whether you would be willing to contribute a paragraph on a pair you follow closely. A rotation of contributors could keep it sustainable.

Which format would you use?
