Comparing prop firms usually starts with price and profit split. For scalpers, other rules matter more.
Proposed comparison columns:
- Minimum hold time.
- News trading policy (window, which events).
- Max lot size per trade/symbol.
- Commission per lot.
- Typical spread on EURUSD during London (measured, not advertised).
- Daily loss calculation (balance/equity, reset time).
- Max drawdown type (static/trailing).
- Consistency rules.
- Weekend holding.
- EA allowed?
- Copy trading allowed?
- Platform (MT5, cTrader, proprietary).
Rows: one per firm, with data from the terms and members' own measurements.
Keep it factual, link to the terms where possible, and note the date of each entry because rules change.
Would members help build this? Which columns would you add?
