Passed, then lost the funded account in week one: shared stories

Post by FXS London Scalper »

It's more common than many admit: pass the challenge, get funded, and lose the account within days. Sharing these stories might help others avoid the same path.

Common patterns:
- Changing behaviour after passing: bigger size, more trades, trying to reach the first payout fast.
- Pressure of "real" money, even when it's not your own.
- Different execution on the funded account.
- Breaching a rule that was less relevant during the challenge (e.g. consistency rules).

If you've lived this, consider sharing:
- What happened in the first week?
- What was different from the challenge?
- What would you do differently?

Some advice that comes up often:
- Trade the funded account at half size for the first two weeks.
- Keep the same routine as during the challenge.
- Don't target the first payout. Target following the rules.

Stories are welcome, anonymous if you prefer.
