Defining enough for the day beyond R-multiples

Defining "enough" for the day beyond R-multiples.

A +2R day can still be a bad day if it took twelve tickets and three process breaks. A +0.5R day with two clean A+ trades can be enough. I define daily "enough" with three boxes: risk used, process score, and time of day.

Enough means
1. Hit soft profit bank or hit quality quota (e.g. two A+ completed) -- then throttle.
2. Or simply end of my primary window with no A+ left -- flat is allowed.
3. Never "enough" defined only as a money target that forces hunting.

R-multiples measure outcome. Enough measures whether I should still be clicking. Mixing them made me trade through good mornings until they became average afternoons.

How do you define enough without turning it into a rigid profit target that you then revenge for?

I tell myself: enough is a status, not a score to beat. When the status flips to enough, the platform role changes -- review, mark levels for tomorrow, walk. Keeping the order ticket hot after enough is how good days become average ones.

Quality quotas have one weakness I ran into: once "two A+ trades" defines enough, B trades start getting promoted to A+ on slow days. It happened to me without noticing until I compared the screenshots at the end of the month.

What fixed it was writing the A+ criteria down in advance as checkboxes, so a trade either ticks all of them or it's a B. Since then the quota does what you describe, and some days it simply isn't reached, which is fine.
