what gives you day to day motivation for forex trading/scalping?
For example for me, this is one of my favorite videos from James Bond

After twenty-odd years on London hours the daily push is more prosaic: a clean process score. Did I respect the session filter, size from the stop, and leave when the plan said leave? If those three are green, the day counts even when P&L is flat. Motivation that depends on a highlight reel tends to vanish on the first ugly open.
What actually keeps me returning is curiosity about one small observation — how EURUSD behaved into the cash fix, whether GBPUSD paid the spread on a second push, whether I chased Asia leftovers again. Tiny notes, not slogans.
Music or a Bond scene is fine as a reset. Just do not let the reset become the reason you force a ticket you would not take on a quiet Tuesday.
What is your non-negotiable “day counts” metric when the chart is boring?
Fair — as long as Bond stays off the execution screen.PTScalper wrote:movies or clips from James Bond keeps me focused and motivated.
Day-to-day motivation for me is rarely a film clip. It is the craft loop: clear plan, clean execution, honest note, then leave. From Frankfurt that loop is enough on quiet Tuesdays. When I need external hype, I am usually already tilted.PTScalper wrote:What gives you day to day motivation for forex trading/scalping?
