My impulse–pullback on EURJPY is aborted when any of these hit: (1) pullback extends beyond half of the impulse with acceptance, not just a wick; (2) a lower timeframe break of the pullback structure goes against me and holds; or (3) time expires with no continuation. Any one is enough. I do not wait for all three like a committee.
I do not add. I do not "wait for London lunch to calm". Flatten, tag the reason, move on. If yen headlines are dripping, abort sensitivity goes up — I would rather be flat than negotiate with a cross under policy noise.
Re-entry the same morning needs a fresh impulse, not a hope that the old one resurrects.
