Indicators I removed after they cost me money.

Every indicator that stayed on my M1 chart had a lobbyist in my head. RSI divergence, overbought labels, extra MAs -- they delayed entries I had already planned or justified entries I should have skipped. After costs, they were noise with opinions.

Removal test
Hide one for two weeks. If expectancy and process tags do not worsen, it stays gone. I kept almost nothing beyond session boxes, levels, and a single volatility ruler used off to the side for sizing -- not on the entry decision.

Clutter is a risk control problem disguised as analysis.

What did you remove last -- and what refused to die?

I keep a graveyard list of removed indicators with the date and why. It stops me reinstalling the same MA crossover six months later with a new name. The graveyard is one of my more useful documents.
