XAUUSD round numbers as magnets: fifty-dollar and ten-dollar zones from the desk.

Gold respects big figures more often than I wish it did when I am early. Round numbers (and the 10/50 handles around them) attract stops, partials, and hesitation. I do not trade "because it is round." I mark them so I am not surprised when pace changes into a handle.

How I use them
1. Pre-mark the nearest 10 and 50 above/below before London.
2. Expect messy fills and wider spreads into the first touch; prefer limits or stand aside on the exact print.
3. Look for acceptance beyond the figure (time + hold) before treating a break as real.
4. Fades need a plan at the magnet -- hope is not a plan.
