Hi Guys,

I would like to share with you some tips and tricks, which i use to scale my forex account.

I have more than 18 years of experience in trading and first of all, it is not easy way how to make money, bit on another hand if you will not give up and find your own way, you can make it.

What works for me is, that i follow these 4 rules:

1) deposit my own money (i do not do challenges). At this phase i risk small, like 0.01 lot positions at account size of 1000$. The idea behind it, is that i do not want to risk a lot my own money.

2) After i will make some profit, i will withdraw my iniciál deposit, the main benefit of this is, that from this point in my point of you i start to risk free. I do not have there my own money.

3) start to risk more just from profit, the reason what is that two times higher risk in good trading series will not make you 2x profit but expenencial higher. At this phase time to time i withdraw part of the profit.

4) once i will finish my targeted goal, defined at beginning, i will withdraw all of my profits, take a rest, part of my profit i spend and go again.

I foundout, that this way is much more better for me, because im more relaxed and still have good potential to make nice profit.

How do you like it? Soon i will share with you some video from such trading series.

The withdraw-principal idea is psychologically powerful. I’ve used a version of it. Just don’t let “house money” become an excuse for sloppy tickets.

Once the deposit is out, the account still represents real wealth — markets don’t care that your spreadsheet labelled it profit. Size-up rules should stay mechanical: after a defined sample of clean days, step risk a little; after a defined drawdown, step it back. Skipping straight to “risk more because it’s profit” is how people donate the withdrawal back.

What I like in your outline: starting tiny, avoiding challenge theatre, and thinking in stages. What I’d add: a written de-risk schedule, not only a scale-up schedule.

How large is the jump you allow when you “start to risk more from profit” — 2× baseline, or something gentler?

Scaling without changing the person who clicks

Most “scale tips” are really lifestyle tips. The mechanical part is dull, which is why it works:
  • Raise risk only on a schedule tied to bankroll rules, not mood after a good Frankfurt open.
  • Keep the same session. If your edge is European morning, do not invent an Asia book to grow faster.
  • Withdraw or ring-fence a slice of profits so the account you trade is not your entire nervous system.
  • Track cost per trade as hard as profit and loss. Growth that ignores rejects and slippage is fake growth.
I am based in Frankfurt and trade this as a job. Scaling that increases screen-time chaos is a demotion, not a promotion. More size with worse process is how full-time traders quietly go part-time against their will.

One question: are you trying to scale income or scale account equity? The plan differs — income often wants steadier withdrawal rules; equity wants slower risk steps.
