Hi guys,
today i would like to talk about forex scalping and psychology.
From my point of view forex scalping is ideal trading strategy for traders, who loves and enjoy fast pace trading.
In average day i make like 100 - 200 trades and see results allmost every day.
So in most days i do not have to hold positions over night so at this point i sleep better.
On another hand face pace of forex scalping means, that in peaks of day you will feel more under pressure and its higher
probability, that your psychic will fail and you will loose your whole account.
Thats why i try to implement several protections to be able to become stable as much as possible:
1) I live in spa city.
2) I trade in trading series, so i do not trade like never ending trading account.
3) After each trading series i take at least 2 weeks off to be able to regenerate.
4) Once im in trading series, i sport every day.
5) Saturday and Sunday i try to not trade. (I mean crypto like BTC and ETH)
6) Put only small part of my capital into tradin series.
7) Scale trading account just from my profits. Not original deposit
Take care,
Have a nice day,
Bye Bye

Its like chessplay.
If you play too fast or too long, opponent will probably win.
You have to find yourself and be able to optimise your trading style by that way.
Everybody is unique.

Exactly, its all probability game.
From my point of view i know myself after 18 years of trading and i found out, that works for me best trading just in trading series and take pause after that.
It keeps my mind cool.

Yes, its not only about understanding the forex spot market, strategy, news etc. But to understand to yourself, your good and bad sides, your psychology and based on that build
your own custom strategy, which will 100 percent suits to you.
For example long-term trading is not for me, i like to have little bit action and nowdays its very good, because you can't predict news, which will come one month in future.
Forex scalping is the way, which i like and suits to me. Yeh i know, its stressful time to time and it is not for everybody.

Hi traders,
yeah, me too. Its not only about money, but as well about free time and be your own boss.
Plus the feeling, that sky is the limit is not bad at all.

Freedom is real — and so is the failure mode where “own boss” becomes no boss and no brakes. Most scalpers I have watched fail from overtrading and undefined risk, not from lacking a clever entry. From Frankfurt I protect free time with session boundaries so the job does not eat the life that made the job attractive.
Desk rule: written hours, soft daily stop, max tickets. Sky-is-the-limit fantasy dies at the first unplanned third attempt after a loss.
Preserve your own money first; scale only when process metrics stay clean. That line in your post is the adult version of ambition.
Own-boss freedom without a written day structure becomes another job with worse hours. I protect evenings the same way I protect daily stops — as a hard boundary, not a vibe.
What boundary actually protects your free time on a red morning — hard stop, or leaving the chair?

Most scalpers fail for dull reasons: no session filter, size that ignores spread, and no walk-away after a streak. Fast pace is enjoyable until it becomes compulsion.
Psychology matters, but so does arithmetic. If average spread plus commission is a large slice of the target scalp, the strategy was broken before mindset entered the chat.
My London fix is boring: trade fewer tickets, only in hours I have measured, and stop when the daily plan is used up.
Which failure mode do you see more in newer traders — overtrading, or underspecified costs?
