Running EAs on a VPS: what to check before going live

Running an EA on a VPS keeps it online without depending on a home computer. But a VPS adds its own risks, and a short checklist before going live can prevent problems.
Check latency to the broker's server, ideally from the VPS itself. Check that the platform restarts automatically after a VPS reboot and that the EA reattaches with correct settings. Check time zone settings, since some EAs depend on local time.
Monitor resources: memory and CPU usage, especially when running several terminals. A VPS with too little memory can freeze the platform during busy periods.
Set up a way to be notified if the platform disconnects, such as push notifications from the terminal or a simple heartbeat script.
Finally, secure access with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where possible, and do not store credentials in plain text files on the VPS.
A week of running on demo through the VPS before going live catches most configuration issues.
What would you add to this checklist?
