Two brokers, two feeds, two different pictures

Put the same pair on two platforms from different brokers and the charts will not match. The highs differ by a few tenths of a pip, the lows differ, and sometimes the direction of a one-minute candle is different.
That happens because each broker builds its own feed from its own liquidity providers. Different sources, different filtering, different timestamps.
For most strategies the differences are noise. For scalping they can matter, because a setup that triggers on one feed might not on another, and a backtest built on one data source might not transfer to another broker's live trading.
The important lesson is to test and trade on the same feed. Backtesting on a free data download and trading on a broker's platform adds an invisible error source.
If switching brokers, plan to re-validate. The strategy may need small adjustments, especially thresholds measured in fractions of a pip.
Has a strategy ever behaved differently after moving to a new broker, and how much of it came down to the feed?
