One-click trading on prop accounts: what can go wrong

A single double click can end a prop challenge. With one-click trading on, two full-size positions can open in a second, and a fast move can take the drawdown limit before you react.
Ways to reduce the risk:
A worked example: a firm with a 5% daily limit and a trader risking 1% per trade. Two accidental extra positions at the same size, stopped out in a fast move with slippage, can approach 3% in seconds.
Has anyone set up a lot-size block that works on MT5?
Ways to reduce the risk:
- Turn one-click trading off during the challenge, or at least on charts you're only watching.
- Set the default volume to your normal size, not a larger one used on another account.
- Use a trade panel or script that blocks orders above a maximum size.
- Use a separate terminal for the prop account, with no other accounts logged in.
