GBPUSD after a quiet Asian session: how to test the London follow-through

A common idea: when the GBPUSD Asian range is narrow, London is more likely to break it with a strong move. It's testable with H1 or M5 data.
Method:
A worked example of the measure: if the median move after a narrow Asia is 40 pips and after a normal one 28 pips, a 10 pip target becomes more realistic on narrow days, but not guaranteed.
Has anyone tested this over several years?
Method:
- Define the Asian range as 00:00 to 07:00 London.
- Select days with a range under a threshold, say 25 pips, and compare with all other days.
- For each, record whether London broke the high or low before 10:00, how far it went, and whether the first break held or reversed.
- Narrow ranges often come before data days, so separate days with 07:00 UK releases.
- A false first break followed by the real move is common. Measuring only "broke or not" hides that.
