New members tend to ask the same few questions. A well-built sticky could save everyone time. A draft structure, comments welcome:
A practical suggestion: one person writes each section, someone else reviews it, and moderators lock it once done. A review every year keeps links working.
It would also help to say clearly what the forum isn't: a signal service or a place for broker promotion.
Which sections would you add or remove?
- What scalping means here: timeframes, typical holding times, why costs matter so much.
- Costs in one page: spread, commission, slippage, and how to express them as cost per trade.
- Platform basics: stop level, freeze level, execution types, with links to existing threads.
- Risk: position sizing, daily loss limits, why gold and indices need separate sizing.
- Journals: a minimal template.
- How to ask a good question: screenshot standards, what information to include.
