How to share a trade in a way that invites useful feedback

A screenshot with an arrow and the caption "thoughts?" draws vague replies. A better post gives enough for others to judge the idea.

Include the pair, timeframe and time of day, since context changes everything. State the setup logic in one or two sentences. Give the entry, stop and target, along with the spread at the time. Note the result, whether win, loss or break-even, and what the plan said about the trade.

Including losses is as important as wins. A forum full of winners teaches little, and members quickly sense curated results.

Marking what went wrong, if anything, turns a post into a mini case study. Was the loss within plan, or did a rule break?

Specific questions get better answers. "Was the stop placement reasonable given the ATR?" draws more useful replies than "what do you think?"
