Too many charts slow the terminal down

A trader opens twenty charts to follow many pairs and timeframes. The terminal starts to lag. The delay is small at first and grows through the day.

Each chart consumes memory and processing time. Each indicator on each chart recalculates on every tick. In a fast market, the load multiplies.

The symptom is subtle. Orders feel sluggish. The chart refreshes late. The platform sometimes freezes for a second at the worst moment.

Reducing the number of open charts, removing unused indicators, and restarting the terminal daily improve performance. On a VPS with limited RAM, the effect is stronger.

Another source of slowdown is the amount of historical data loaded. Setting the maximum bars in history to a lower value saves memory.

Testing is easy: note the platform's responsiveness with all charts open, then close most of them and compare.

How many charts are open right now, and how many of them directly feed the strategy?
