Retired London open setups: what got dropped and why

Setups age. Something that worked well for a year can stop working as market structure or participation changes. Keeping a list of retired setups, with the reason each was dropped, is a useful habit.
Examples of setups that many London-session scalpers have quietly retired over time:
The 08:00 candle fade. Fading the first big 1-minute candle used to work often enough. With more algorithmic participation and faster price discovery, those first candles more often continue.
Round-number bounces on EURUSD. Levels like 1.0800 or 1.1000 used to attract clean reactions. Now they're crowded, often swept, and the reaction comes after the sweep rather than at the level.
The "Frankfurt high break at 08:00". Became so popular that the break itself turned into the stop hunt.
Pre-London Asia range fades on GBPUSD. Spreads at 07:00 eat too much of the edge.
The process for retiring a setup matters. Rather than dropping it after a bad week, set a threshold: e.g. if the last 50 trades show expectancy below zero after costs, it goes on the retired list, with a note to review in six months.
Which setups have you retired? Did any of them come back?
