One focused screen vs a multi-monitor wall

Photos of trading setups with six monitors look impressive. Many scalpers trade from one or two screens. Does the extra space help?
Arguments for more screens:
- Context: related pairs, higher timeframes, calendar and news all visible at once.
- Less clicking between windows during fast moves.
- Space for a journal or checklist on its own screen.
Arguments for fewer:
- Focus. Scalping needs attention on one chart at the moment of entry.
- More screens can mean more pairs watched, more setups seen, and more marginal trades taken.
- Eye and neck strain from constantly looking around.
A common compromise for London scalpers:
- Screen 1: the execution chart (M1) and order ticket.
- Screen 2: context (M15/H1 of the same pair, DXY or a related pair) and the calendar.
- Anything else on a laptop to the side, ideally turned off during the open.
A test: trade one week with only one screen, and compare trade count and quality with a normal week.
How many screens do you use? Have you gone up or down over time?
