Initiative around the London close: examples wanted

The London close (around 16:00–17:00 UK) is less studied than the open. But it often brings a shift in who's in control: London participants close positions, and New York traders either take over the direction or let it fade.

Patterns to look for:
- A trend that has run all day pauses at 16:00 and either reverses as London profit-taking hits, or extends as NY joins.
- After the 16:00 fix, price drifts back toward the day's middle.
- A breakout of the day's range in the NY afternoon after London has left, which often has less follow-through.

What counts as "initiative": a decisive move that's sustained for 15–30 minutes, ideally with increasing activity, rather than a brief spike.

If you've seen clean examples, consider posting:
- Pair and date.
- What happened from 15:30 to 17:30 UK.
- Whether the move held into the next morning.

A collection of these could help anyone who trades the second half of the day.

Do you trade the London close, or stop before it?
