An MT4 workspace for EURJPY: what to hide and why
Posted: Mon Oct 19, 2026 1:29 pm
EURJPY moves faster than EURUSD and can be noisy. A clean workspace helps focus.
What to hide:
- Indicators that don't directly affect entry or exit decisions.
- Grid lines (Properties → Common → uncheck Show grid).
- Volume bars if you don't use them.
- Trade levels from closed trades.
- One-click trading panel if not used (reduces accidental clicks).
What to keep:
- Price.
- Pre-marked levels: Asia high/low, previous day high/low, key round numbers.
- Session separators.
- Spread display.
- Maybe one moving average for trend reference.
Layout:
- Main chart M1 or M5.
- Side chart H1 for context.
- USDJPY and EURUSD small charts, since EURJPY is a combination of both.
Watching the two component pairs helps explain EURJPY moves: is it euro-driven or yen-driven?
