Scaling plans promise larger allocations after consistent performance. The mechanics differ, but most fall into three types:
Has anyone here actually gone through a scale-up, and did the new rules feel tighter than before?
- Milestone scaling: e.g. +10% profit over four months with at least two payouts gives a 25% balance increase.
- Tiered scaling: fixed steps (50k → 100k → 200k) after hitting a profit target at each level.
- Profit-split scaling: the account size stays, but the split moves from 80% to 90%.
- Does the drawdown limit scale proportionally? A 25% bigger account with the same absolute daily loss is effectively tighter.
- Is profit measured net of payouts, or cumulatively?
- Do you need a minimum number of trading days per cycle?
- Is the scale-up automatic or by request?
