Low-volatility Fridays: what I do with the boredom

My problem on quiet Fridays is not the market. It is boredom, and the mouse needs a job that is not clicking.
On a dead Friday morning, EURUSD moves a few pips in an hour, and I start seeing setups that are not there. A tiny range looks like a breakout. A small wick looks like a rejection. Looking back at my journal, my worst Friday trades almost all happened in the slowest hour of the morning.
What I do instead:
- At 09:30, if nothing has set up, I switch to admin: export the week's deals, update the cost sheet and fill in missing journal notes.
- Then I do the weekly review early, while the week is still fresh.
- If there is still time, I read through the playbook card and update anything that changed during the week.
- By 11:00 I usually close the platform and leave the desk.
What I avoid is "watching just in case". Watching a dead chart for two hours always ends with a trade I would not take on a normal day.
What I do is leave. What I do not do is hunt. Does anyone else have a fixed routine for slow days, or do you just take the day off?
