GBPUSD at Asia session: last-hour inventory flush

GBPUSD into the last hour of Asia is where I watch for inventory flush, not for genius.

Thin tape, positions that needed London liquidity, and a quiet drive that looks like a signal until spreads and depth say otherwise. My bias is scepticism: if I am still holding GBPUSD risk into that window without a written reason, I am late to my own plan.

Last-hour habits
1. Prefer reducing inventory over adding.
2. Treat spike-and-fade patterns as suspect unless spread is well behaved.
3. London warm-up starts with a clean book when possible.

Flush is a risk event, not a strategy brand.

Do you actively flatten GBPUSD before London, or do you hold Asia leftovers if the level still "looks valid"?

If I do hold a planned swing into London, it is labelled as swing inventory in the journal — not as a scalp that overstayed. Naming the leftover correctly stops me from managing it with scalp instincts.

Last-hour flush days also go into the session budget thinking: Asia should not spend London R by accident.
