Favourite GBPUSD sequence when it behaves: Asia builds a high, London briefly runs it, then reclaims.

Checklist before I click — all lines matter:

• Asia high is obvious (equal highs help)
• Sweep is quick, not a new trend leg with acceptance
• Reclaim closes back with some urgency, not a courtesy tick
• No UK high-impact print in the next few minutes
• I am not already in a correlated EUR idea oversized

If any line fails, it is a watch, not a force. Stop beyond the sweep; I do not negotiate with wicks because cable "always comes back". Target is usually back into the Asia range or toward a clear opposite pocket — not a revenge day-trade.

I like this sequence because it is session-logic, not indicator soup. When it fails, it usually fails fast, which I prefer to slow hope.

If any line fails, it is not the pattern — it is a different trade or nothing. I do not “kind of” reclaim. Stop sits where reclaim is wrong; target stays modest inside the story I actually have.

Cable spreads around data make the no-news line non-negotiable.

Equal Asia highs help the story; a messy Asia range with no clear extreme usually means I skip the pattern rather than invent a level.

I cancel if the reclaim is only a spike back without a hold. Courtesy reclaims are how GBPUSD collects stop-and-reverse victims.
