Playbook card: liquidity sweep reversal on EURUSD

Writing the sweep-reversal as a one-page card forced me to stop hand-waving.

Context: London open or early overlap. Trigger: clear sweep of Asia high/low or equal highs/lows, then reclaim. Entry: after reclaim hold, not during the wick theatre. Invalidation: fresh acceptance beyond the sweep extreme. Skip: into tier-1 news, when Asia range was already enormous, or when I already used my London risk budget.

I keep targets modest — often back to mid-range or opposite liquidity — and I will not turn it into a day trade because the narrative feels institutional. If the reclaim is weak and the next bars immediately re-test the sweep extreme, I treat that as a warning, not a chance to add.

The card lives next to the platform. If I cannot point to which line I am trading, I am not trading.
  • What belongs on your sweep-reversal card that I am missing?
  • Do you require displacement after the reclaim, or is the reclaim enough?
Happy to compare cards if others run this on EURUSD specifically.
