Today i had at lunch pasta with vegetables and eggs.

That looks properly dangerous in the best way — proper heat, not food-blog mild.
I’m usually on something simpler between London open and the overlap: leftover roast chicken, rice, nothing that needs a sauce reduction while EURUSD is deciding whether to fake the Asian high. Cooking that ambitious mid-session is a different personality type.
Small serious note under the banter: meal timing matters more than people admit for discretionary scalpers. Heavy + spicy right before a high-vol window leaves you sluggish exactly when you need clean pattern recognition. I eat light before the open, proper meal after the morning book is flat.
Recipe curiosity though — oven peppered chicken or pan? And do you batch it Sunday for the week, or is this a post-session celebration plate?

Food is part of the shutdown, oddly enough
Thread is light, so a practical note: what I eat after the Frankfurt session is less about cuisine flex and more about not trading hungry or sugar-crashing into the overlap. Spicy rice and proper protein beats desk snacks that keep me wired and near the mouse.
Rule I actually keep: no new discretionary tickets after I have started the evening meal prep. Kitchen means session closed. If I catch myself checking M1 while stirring a pot, that is a process tag the next morning.
Fuel and off-ramps sound soft until you notice how many revenge trades sit next to skipped lunch.
Hydration and a real meal also reduce the late-session tilt I used to blame on “the market.” Physiology is not separate from risk management when you click for a living.
Do you have a hard “food started = platform closed” line, or does dinner still compete with the New York open on your calendar?

Oats and fruit before the session today, with the proper plate saved for after the morning is done. The Jollof in the first post would be dinner material here, never lunch on a trading day.
PropScalpDesk's kitchen rule makes sense. A pot on the stove is a decent reason to have the platform closed, because nobody manages a stop well while also watching rice that is about to burn.
Coffee timing is the one that catches people out. A strong cup half an hour before the open tends to peak right when entries need patience, so a smaller cup at the open and water after it is the gentler version.
Skipped lunch is the other quiet one. The afternoon session feels slow and irritating when the real problem is low blood sugar, and that mood is where the impulsive entries come from.
Back to the recipe question though. Is the peppered chicken fried first and then sauced, or done in the oven the whole way?

Eating at the desk deserves its own rule as well. One click trading plus a plate next to the keyboard is how a buy gets placed by an elbow, and greasy fingers on hotkeys are worse.
Switching one click trading off during any meal costs nothing. If the platform has to stay open for a running trade, a stop and target already in place mean nothing needs touching until the plate is gone.
The Jollof photo raises a serious question too. Is it the party kind with the smoky bottom of the pot, or the everyday version?
The smoky layer takes patience, low heat and no stirring, which is not a bad description of waiting for a setup. Lift the lid every two minutes and it never forms.
Evening cooking also lines up well with being done for the day here. By the time the rice is on, London is long finished and the New York session can carry on without anyone watching it.
