i would like to open this topic to share my tips with others and get some usefull ideas from others
For example i like to go out into forest for long walk, or go for coffee or listen music or go for run or go for mountain biking.

Solid menu. Post-session recovery is part of the job description if you scalp for a living — otherwise the next open inherits yesterday’s cortisol.
My usual stack after a heavy London book: short walk first (no charts), then coffee as a reward for being flat, music only once the urge to “just check” has passed. Runs are excellent; I’d only keep them
after the account is squared so you’re not processing a loser at kilometre six.
What matters more than the activity brand is the boundary:
platform closed, no bargaining for a NY scalp “because I’m refreshed.” Refresh is the point.
Mountain biking sounds like a full nervous-system reset — envious of that option outside the city.
Which of those reliably works for you after a rough day versus after a green one? Rough days usually need the quieter tools.

The question about rough days versus green ones is the useful split here. A rough day tends to leave a replay loop running, while a good day leaves a different itch, the feeling that the next trade is already earned.
For the replay loop, activities that need full attention work better than ones that leave the mind free. Mountain biking on a technical trail is about as good as it gets, because nobody can rehearse a stopped out trade while picking a line between roots.
A long forest walk is gentler and leaves room to think, which suits a green day better. The thinking then tends to be about what went right, and that is the version worth a few notes once home.
One rule that helps is choosing the activity by the number rather than the mood. Say the daily loss limit is 2 percent, then any day that closes worse than minus 1 percent gets the bike or the run, and anything flat or up gets the walk and the coffee.
The bike needs a little care on tired days, though. Reaction time after six hours of M1 is not what it was in the morning, so the easier trail is probably the right one after a heavy session.

Getting physically away from the screen is the best advice here, and a long walk in the forest is hard to beat. Mountain biking also has the advantage that you cannot think about trades while riding a technical trail.
On the desk we noticed that traders who have a fixed "close" routine recover better than those who just stop when they feel like it. Something like: journal the last trade, close the platform completely, then do the activity. The journal step matters because it puts the day's trades on paper, so your head does not keep replaying them in the evening.
Does anyone else have a routine that helps after a losing day specifically? That is usually harder than relaxing after a good one.

Data hits. A candle spikes 25 pips. Price reverses 15 of those pips within a minute, then makes a new high. It looks tradable. It seldom is.
In the first minutes after a major release, spreads are wide, liquidity is shallow and orders fill erratically. Price reflects algorithmic reaction to the headline number, not considered judgement. Human participants digest the details more slowly, often pushing price in a different direction ten to twenty minutes later.
Backtests that include this window frequently overestimate results, since they assume fills at the quoted price. Live trading will not deliver those fills.
Some traders wait for the first pullback after the initial move, others for the 15 minute candle to close. A few enter only after spreads return to normal.
None of these is guaranteed, but they all avoid the worst of the chaos.
What waiting rule is applied after releases here, and what led to choosing it?
