Patient levels on silver — good. XAGUSD punishes people who “need” a fill more than they need a level.

Desk observation from London metals: silver’s spread and spike behaviour mean a limit sitting exactly on a round number often becomes a liquidity magnet, not a gift. I prefer appetite zones a little beyond the obvious print, sized so that if we wick through and reverse I am wrong cleanly — not averaging into a knife.

Also worth separating “buy appetite” from “must be long today.” If price never tags the zone, flat is a valid outcome. That is harder emotionally than it sounds when the thread is interactive.

If you do get filled, I would watch session overlap carefully; silver can look calm on M5 and then gap your stop on a single print.

Are those 64.4 / 62.4 from daily structure, or from a shorter scalp map?

Transparent logs including losers are more useful than highlight reels. Silver’s beta and spread behaviour demand respect: static large lots that look fine on a flush can become a different animal when the book thins. Absorption/mean-reversion after sell-side exhaustion is a coherent story — provided invalidation and cost are written before the clip.

Frankfurt translation for my book: smaller % risk than gold, stricter spread gate, hard time stop, no averaging into the cascade. I will study a clean M1 bounce; I will not copy 5-lot mechanics onto a funded path without a personal fill sample.

Prop angle: metals heaters look brilliant until trailing DD meets a slippage day. Process first, trophy PnL second.

Transparency including losers is what makes a log trustworthy. I care less about the highlight PnL than about whether invalidation, hold time, and costs were predefined before the flush.

What is your non-negotiable abort on XAG — spread spike, time stop, or structure break beyond the absorption zone?

Hi traders, scalpers,

im starting to build long positions again, i think that current level around 60.80 is very good deal :-)
On another hand im stil careful, so i wil put my SL under 50$ level, so positions i will keep small.

What do you think?
