"Exactly," Ethan said. "Cipher, write a custom TradingView Pine Script. I want you to initiate a massive, automated buy order on the USD/CZK pair using the Yakuza's own internal liquidity. The legacy MT4 server will accept the outdated price. Then, we instantly dump the position onto the live global market at the real-time rate."
"The profit margin will generate the ten billion we need," the Oracle laughed, his fingers flying across his cyber-deck to establish the connection tunnel. "We carry their liquidity across the latency gap."
"Get the script ready," Viper interrupted, her voice suddenly cold. She racked the bolt on her heavy plasma repeater, aiming it down the dark access corridor outside the maintenance bay. "The Yakuza might have slow servers, but their physical network is fast. Someone just tripped the proximity sensors on the lower stairwell."
"Enforcers," the Oracle said, his face paling. "They must have traced the initial MT4 handshake."
"How long do you need?" Viper asked, stepping into the threshold of the corridor.
"Three minutes for Cipher's script to execute the volume," Ethan said, taking a position behind a reinforced durasteel pillar, drawing his sidearm.

"I'll give you two and a half," Viper smirked.
The corridor erupted.
Three Yakuza cyber-ronin sprinted up the stairwell, moving with terrifying, augmented speed. They didn't carry firearms; they wielded high-frequency mono-molecular katanas capable of slicing through reinforced tank armor.
Viper opened fire. The heavy plasma repeater roared, flooding the narrow corridor with blinding blue light. The lead ronin deflected the first three bolts with a spinning flourish of his blade, the superheated plasma splashing harmlessly against the concrete walls, but Viper’s sheer rate of fire overwhelmed his kinetic shielding. He went down in a hail of sparks.
"Executing the Pine Script!" Cipher yelled over the comms. "Injecting the synthetic orders into the MT4 bridge!"
On the Oracle's terminal, the Yakuza’s account balance began to drain at warp speed.
TRANSFERRING... 2 BILLION... 4 BILLION...

The second ronin vaulted over his fallen comrade, launching himself off the wall and closing the distance to Viper in a microsecond. Viper swung the heavy barrel of her repeater like a bat, smashing the ronin across the jaw, but the cyborg absorbed the blow and slashed downward.
Viper threw herself backward, the mono-molecular blade missing her chest by an inch and cleanly severing the barrel of her weapon in half.
She dropped the useless repeater and drew her dual tactical knives, crossing them to block the ronin’s next strike. The impact threw her to her knees.
"Ethan!" Viper grunted, sparks flying as her blades ground against the high-frequency katana.
Ethan stepped out from cover, leveled his pistol, and fired three rapid shots into the ronin’s exposed knee joints. The cyborg collapsed, and Viper finished him with a swift, brutal strike to the neuro-processor at the base of his neck.
TRANSFERRING... 7 BILLION... 9 BILLION...

"Almost there!" the Oracle shouted, sweat pouring down his face as he manually rerouted the incoming funds through a dozen decentralized crypto-mixers to mask their origin.
The third ronin didn't attack Viper. He bypassed her entirely, activating a localized optical-camo shroud. He became a blur of distorted light, sprinting directly toward the Oracle and the terminal.
"I can't see him!" Viper yelled, scanning the room.
Ethan didn't rely on his eyes. He relied on the acoustics. He closed his eyes, filtering out the blaring alarms and the hum of the servers, listening for the heavy, rhythmic thud of augmented boots on the grated metal floor.
Thud. Thud.
He was closing in from the left.
Ethan snapped his arm up and fired blindly. The plasma bolt struck empty air, completely disrupting the optical-camo matrix. The ronin materialized five feet from the Oracle, staggering backward, his stealth suit short-circuiting.

Before the cyborg could recover, Ethan closed the distance, grabbed the ronin by his armored collar, and drove the butt of his pistol squarely into the center of the cyborg's biometric faceplate.
TRANSFER COMPLETE. 10,000,000,000 NEO-YEN SECURED.
"Got it!" Cipher cheered. "The collateral is sitting in an encrypted escrow wallet. The MT4 bridge just realized it's empty, but by the time their risk-management algorithms catch up, we'll be ghosts."
"Pull the drive," Ethan ordered, grabbing the Oracle by the collar of his leather jacket and hauling him to his feet.
"Wait, you're taking me with you?" the Oracle stammered, frantically ripping his cyber-deck from the console.

"You're the only one who knows the layout of Sterling's core," Viper said, snatching a plasma rifle from one of the dead enforcers. "Besides, you just helped us rob the Silver Dragon syndicate. If you stay here, they'll turn you into synthetic sashimi."
The Oracle looked at the smoking wreckage of his hideout, then at the glowing escrow drive in his hand. "Fair point. Where to?"
Ethan reloaded his sidearm, his eyes turning cold and focused. "We have the key. We have the collateral. It's time to find Arthur Sterling."
End of Chapter 14.

CHAPTER 15: Support and Resistance
The stolen cargo-skiff cut through the torrential monsoon rains over the Indian Ocean. Inside the rusted, dimly lit hold, the roar of the twin turbine engines provided a heavy blanket of white noise.
Ethan Vance sat on a crate of smuggled synthetic protein, field-stripping his plasma pistol with mechanical precision. Across the hold, the Oracle was furiously typing on his cyber-deck, trying to map the ten billion Neo-Yen they had just stolen into a localized wallet that wouldn't trigger the Omni-Ledger’s alarms.
Viper stood near the rear airlock, staring out at the black, churning water. Her dual tactical knives were sheathed, but her hands were restless.
Suddenly, the private biometric HUD on Viper’s retina flickered. The green overlays dissolved into a sharp, icy blue.
INCOMING SECURE TRANSMISSION. OFF-LEDGER PROTOCOL.

Viper stiffened. She tapped her jaw to open the sub-vocal comms link, isolating her audio from the rest of the ship. "Who is this?"
"A market maker, my dear Viper," a voice purred in her ear. It was perfectly modulated, calm, and cultured. Arthur Sterling.
"Sterling," Viper whispered, her eyes darting toward Ethan, who was oblivious, locking the slide on his weapon. "You're wasting your bandwidth. Cipher’s GCP firewall is solid; you can't trace this ship."
"I don't need to trace the ship," Sterling replied smoothly. "I traced the Yakuza funds you just acquired. A brilliant carry trade, I must admit. But you and I both know Ethan is blinded by ideology. He thinks he can stop the Omega Protocol. He is over-leveraged, Viper. He is going to crash, and if you stay attached to his asset sheet, you will be liquidated with him."

"Get to the pitch, Sterling."
"One billion Euro-Creds," Sterling said. "Clean, decentralized, and parked in a cold-storage wallet in Neo-Zurich. It hits your account the moment you execute a simple limit order. I am transmitting a localized EMP worm to your wrist-pad right now. Activate it. It will fry Ethan’s quantum routing key and the Oracle's cyber-deck. Then, take the escape pod. You walk away rich, and the market balances."
A small, encrypted file materialized on Viper’s HUD. A single button: EXECUTE.
Viper looked at the file. One billion Euro-Creds. In the world of arbitrage, loyalty was a commodity, and Sterling had just bid a massive premium. She had built her entire career on knowing exactly when a trend was about to reverse—when a stock hit a ceiling of resistance and it was time to sell. Ethan had just hit massive resistance.
Viper slowly drew her heavy plasma pistol.

She turned away from the airlock and took three silent steps into the cargo hold, raising the weapon. She aimed it directly at the Oracle’s cyber-deck.
"Viper?" Ethan asked, freezing, his instincts immediately sensing the shift in the room's energy. He looked up, his eyes locking onto the barrel of her gun.
"Sorry, Ethan," Viper said, her voice deadpan. "The spread just widened. And my client made a better offer."
The Oracle threw his hands up, shrinking back against the bulkhead. "Wait, wait! I haven't finished masking the Yakuza collateral!"
"Viper, put the gun down," Ethan said softly. He didn't reach for his weapon. He analyzed her stance, her eyes, reading her micro-expressions like a tick chart. "If Sterling is in your ear, he’s lying. The second you fry that key, he zeros your accounts. You know how he operates."
"Don't listen to him, Viper," Sterling’s voice whispered in her ear. "Execute the worm. Take your profit."
