Layer 1: The Macro Compass (D1 / H4)
What it does: Keeps you on the right side of central bank money flow.
Instead of looking at a single pair in a vacuum, the system tracks a basket of the 8 major currencies plus Gold (XAU/USD) and bond yields.
The Logic: Big money moves toward higher yields and strong commodities. If US bond yields are climbing while Eurozone yields are dropping, the "true value" of EUR/USD is pulling down.
The Rule: We only look for trades when the current spot price has drifted noticeably away from where interest rates and commodities say it should be.

Layer 2: The Market Mood Detector (H4 / H1)
What it does: Tells you what kind of game the market is playing right now.
A strategy that prints money in a range will blow up your account in a breakout. Before looking for any setup, an algorithm classifies the market into one of 4 states using volatility and choppiness math:
Range / Mean-Reversion Mode: Market is calm and ping-ponging between levels.
Trend / Momentum Mode: Big directional push is underway.
The Squeeze: Volatility is coiling up tight before an explosion.
Chaos / Liquidity Vacuum: Erratic spikes and thin order books—system sits 100% in cash.
If the Mood Detector says "Chaos," the bot turns itself off. No exceptions.

Layer 3: The "Rubber Band" Correlation Check (M15 / M5)
What it does: Filters out fake moves on a single currency pair.
Sometimes EUR/USD spikes just because of a random blip, while GBP/USD, AUD/USD, and Gold barely move.
The Logic: By comparing correlated pairs together as a basket, the system measures how far one pair has stretched away from its peers—like a rubber band.
The Rule: In a ranging market, we only arm the trigger when a pair is stretched more than 2 standard deviations away from the rest of the basket, meaning it is statistically overdue to snap back.

Layer 4: Zero-Lag Price Action & The Stop Hunt (M15 / M5 / M1)
What it does: Identifies the exact chart zone where retail traders are getting trapped.
Standard moving averages are too slow for scalping, so the system uses a signal-processing filter (Wavelets) to strip out 1-minute chart noise without adding lag.
The Setup: We wait for price to aggressively pierce an obvious M15 or H4 support/resistance swing level—wiping out retail stop-losses—and tap directly into an unmitigated institutional Fair Value Gap (FVG) or supply/demand zone.
The Rule: Never enter before the stop hunt. Let the market sweep the liquidity pool first, then wait for the denoised price curve to hook back inside the range.

Layer 5: The ECN Tape & Absorption Trigger (Tick / Level 2 DOM)
What it does: Times the sniper entry down to the second using real volume.
Once price is sitting inside our reversal zone after a stop hunt, we drop down to the raw ECN tick feed and Level-2 Order Book:
What we look for (Absorption): Imagine price sweeps below a major support level. Retail traders panic-sell and breakout traders jump in short. Market sell orders skyrocket to extreme levels—yet price stops dropping by even a single pip.
Why that happens: A massive institutional player is sitting there with passive Limit Buy orders, quietly absorbing every single sell order hitting the market.
The Trigger: The exact millisecond that panic-selling volume starts to dry up and the ECN order book flips to show more buyers than sellers on the bid, the system fires the entry.

Layer 6: "House Money" Exponential Scaling
What it does: Protects base capital like a fortress while pressing winning trades hard.
Most traders lose because they risk too much on unproven entries and cut winners too early. This system flips that upside down:
Phase 1 (Tiny Seed Risk): The first entry risks a tiny fraction of core equity (e.g., 0.25%). If the setup fails, it's just a scratch.
Phase 2 (Locking the Floor): As soon as the trade moves into solid profit (1R), the stop-loss is moved to Breakeven + ECN Commission. Your core account balance is now 100% risk-free.
Phase 3 (Pyramiding with the Market's Money): If Layer 2 confirms the market is shifting into Momentum Mode, the system uses that locked-in floating profit ("house money") to add new positions on every 1-minute pullback. If price reverses, you walk away at breakeven. If the trend runs, your profit compounds geometrically without ever risking an extra cent of your starting balance.

Layer 7: The ECN Kill Switches
What it does: Protects you from broker tricks, slippage, and news spikes.
Even a perfect setup gets blocked if execution conditions are toxic. The system automatically cancels orders if:
The current ECN spread widens past 1.8x its normal hourly average.
Server ping latency spikes above 20 milliseconds.
Red-folder high-impact news (NFP, CPI, FOMC) is less than 5 minutes away.

Why This Approach Changes Everything
Notice how not a single layer repeats another:
Layer 1 checks Macro Direction.
Layer 2 checks Market Regime.
Layer 3 checks Cross-Pair Correlation.
Layer 4 checks Liquidity Sweeps & Price Structure.
Layer 5 checks ECN Order-Flow Absorption.
Layer 6 scales purely with House Money.
Layer 7 guards the Execution.

Even if you trade manually on M15/H4 and don't run a C# or MQL5 server, adopting this funnel mindset—waiting for a Higher-Timeframe Sweep, watching how price reacts at the level before jumping in, locking breakeven fast, and only scaling with floating profit—will put you miles ahead of anyone trading indicator crossovers.
What layers do you guys already use in your daily routine, and which one do you think makes the biggest difference for short-term scalping?

To translate Layer 4 (Liquidity Sweep Geometry) and Layer 5 (Tick-Volume Absorption) into production code without requiring a full institutional FIX engine, the indicator must solve two problems deterministically on closed bars:
Stateful Unmitigated Liquidity Pools: Most fractal indicators trigger repeatedly on already-broken levels. A true sweep detector must maintain a memory state of confirmed swing highs and lows, invalidate levels that experience a full-body breakout close, and only trigger on the first raid that pierces a virgin level and snaps back inside the range.
Effort-vs-Result Absorption Scoring: When a retail stop pool is raided, triggered stop-losses hit the ECN book as aggressive market orders. If an institutional participant is absorbing that flow via passive limit orders, two things happen simultaneously:
Tick Volume spikes significantly above its rolling baseline (
Z-Score≥1.2 to 1.8).
Net price displacement fails, leaving an elongated rejection wick where the bulk of the intrabar volume is trapped outside the closing boundary.
