On How do you handle M1 chart decluttering the desk question is not more tools — it is whether the calendar already owns the risk.
Prop or personal, the news folder changes behaviour. Near a target I cut size for two sessions rather than “finish it.” Trailing rules punish narrative trading faster than any pep talk.
I also log refused tickets so flat time counts. A quiet hour into CPI is a good hour.
If the idea needs a story longer than one line, it waits for another window.
PTScalper’s practical framing fits a news desk when the calendar is treated as market structure, not a footnote.
Where is your line between alert-assist and auto-send around Tier-1?
Hi LondonNewsTrader,
i trade personal capital + my main advantage is exponential money management, which i start to apply in phase two of my trading series.
So lets explain it more complex:
1) I do trade in forex series
2) I put part of my capital, like 2-5 percent into that trading serie.
3) At beginning i trade with low risk (i do not want to risk too much my own hard earned money).
In this phase i use still linear money management. (all positions has same size)
4) Once i make at least some profit, i withdraw my initial deposit.
5) I start to scale just from profit with exponencial money managenet. Time to time i withdraw part of the profit.
And once im satisfied with ammount of profit i withdraw all of money.
6) End the trading series, take 2-4 weeks rest and relax.
7) Repeat.
It has good advantage, that if you have good times, you grow really fast, if you have bad times, you loose little.
