Being done is the skill. Four clean clips and flat beats eight tickets chasing completeness. From Frankfurt I congratulate the stop-trading decision as much as the R. Desk rule: when planned tickets are used, the session ends even if the next candle looks perfect. Prop trailing DD loves the trader who cannot leave a green morning alone.
Share fewer images if needed; share the decision to stop. That is the transferable part.
Sideline discipline is contagious in a good way. When you stop at enough, you teach yourself that the market continues without you — which it does. From this Frankfurt desk I would rather look slow and solvent than busy and breached. Concrete habit: if the rule is not written on the morning card, it does not exist mid-session. I will not invent discipline from memory while the spread is moving.
