Like you have the businesses after you made it from trading or before?

It was like two separate ways, first of all i made solid money from trading. After that i stoped it for some time and focused on business, when i was successful too.
After that i scaled from business money as well.

Which would you say youve made more money from between the two

This represents an inefficiency in how price moved through that zone.

Price has a strong documented tendency to return and "fill" this gap at some point before continuing in its original direction, essentially rebalancing the inefficiency before the broader move resumes. This makes FVGs a genuinely useful reference zone for scalping entries, particularly when combined with additional confluence.

The strongest version of this setup involves confirming the FVG retest with a higher timeframe trend bias — if the 1-hour or 4-hour chart shows a clear directional trend, and an FVG forms in the direction of that trend on a lower timeframe, the retest of that gap becomes a higher-probability entry than trading FVGs in isolation without any broader context.

Enter on the retest of the FVG zone itself, ideally with some additional price-action confirmation at the zone (a rejection candle, a brief pause followed by continuation), and place your stop beyond the far edge of the gap, since a full fill and continuation through the gap would suggest the setup has failed.
Hello,

Now, "Fair Value Gap" is a modern term for something I’ve been seeing since the days of paper charts and ticker tapes. You can call it an FVG, a liquidity void, or a price imbalance—at the end of the day, it’s simply the market's way of showing us where the big players moved so fast that the opposing side couldn't keep up. It’s a "hole" in the tape where the orders weren't filled equally, and as you correctly pointed out, the market has a habit of circling back to fill those gaps before it finds its footing again.

I particularly like your point about the higher-timeframe context. That’s the difference between a lucky guess and a professional trade. A gap in isolation is just a ghost; a gap that aligns with the 1-hour or 4-hour trend is a roadmap. It gives you that extra layer of certainty that the "big money" is backing your move. And your advice on waiting for confirmation at the zone? That’s the hallmark of a disciplined trader. It means you aren't just chasing a moving target; you're waiting for the market to prove its intent before you put your capital on the line.

It’s a solid, disciplined way to trade. But it leads me to wonder: in a market that's constantly evolving, is our greatest skill finding the perfect "gap" to jump into, or having the discipline to wait for the market to confirm the path ahead?
If I am to choose I would personally pick having discipline in o wait for market confirmation
Time to time you are right. But i prefer personally have at least some position in market, because i start to focus better.
But sure i mean to wait as well for good opportunity.
For example with silver i prefer to wait two to three days and after that i go against the market with focus on corection.

Its hard to tell. I think that from trading.
