ALMA’s appeal is the tunable lag/smooth trade-off. On majors in a clean London trend it can look tidy; in a lunch chop it still gives you something to overtrade.

I only use moving-average context with a higher-timeframe bias and a hard limit on attempts. Manual loop translations are good for learning; production should still fail closed on symbol specs and session.

Precision without lag is the brochure. Precision with a ticket cap is the desk.

What length/offset do you settle on for EURUSD M5 versus XAU M5?
