Not a native English speaker? Some help with posting

Post by FXS London Scalper »

Many members here aren't native English speakers. That shouldn't stop anyone from posting.

Tips that help:
  • Short sentences work well. They're easier to read for everyone.
  • Numbers, screenshots and lists say a lot without perfect English.
  • Translation tools are fine. Read the result once to check the trading terms survived, because "stop" and "limit" sometimes get translated strangely.
  • Write the pair, timeframe and time zone clearly. That matters more than grammar.
  • If you're unsure about a word, write it in your own language in brackets. Someone may help.
For readers: be patient with English that isn't perfect. Ask for clarification instead of correcting grammar.

It might also help to have a small glossary of common terms in several languages. If anyone wants to start one, a thread with the English term and translations in German, Czech, Polish, Spanish and others could be useful.
