Re: Share your curently opened trades
Nothing open from me right now, since it is the weekend and I never carry a scalp past the Friday close. The last one I had on was a EURUSD short during Friday's London morning, so I can describe how that one was handled instead.
Entry came on a retest of the Asian low shortly after the open, with a 6 pip stop above the retest high and half a percent of the account at risk. The target was the previous day's low, about 9 pips away.
Once price had moved 6 pips my way I closed half and moved the stop to entry. The rest came back and stopped out at entry twenty minutes later, so the whole trade made a little under half R after costs.
That is a fairly typical result for me, small and boring. The weeks that matter are the ones where every loser stays at one R, not the occasional runner.
PTScalper, I am curious how you are handling risk on your friend's account. Is the size fixed per trade, or does it scale up as the balance grows from that 1600 starting point?
